Damn, this is just going to be a regular thing, huh? I completely ignore my DeviantART for a year, and then write a new journal because I'm sick of seeing the old one.

Otherwise in life, I have a job as a cook; am going back to culinary school in the fall; and have been claimed by several new fandoms, Sherlock and Sengoku Basara having the strongest claims amongst them.

Don't worry Storm Hawks, you're still my favorite. Never mind what Megaman X says, you know I'll always love you the most.

So happy to finally be online again, even if it's only for an hour or two. I miss you guys on DA!

I blame school. Stupid math and english. One alone would be enough to overwhelm me, but both at the same time?! (Oh God that sounded sexual.) English escpecially. You know how sometimes over analising a book can kill it? My teacher didn't kill Lord of the Flies. She dragged it over a bed of spikes until it was a bloody pulp, is what she did.

I actually recently had this happen to me. I started twitching, and couldn't stop for about ten minutes. I'm a little worried.

But I did get tonight's work done early, so I have time to relax! _{Whaddya mean my overdue assignment? I have no idea what you're talking about!}

No, not Storm Hawks Squadron or the Skyrace MMORPG on the official website. It's called Crystal Flight, and it's really fun! Simple to play, but nicely put together.

So, I finally broke down and bought myself an iPod. I'd been given an iTunes card a while back, and it was about to expire, which was enough to motivate me. Of course, all my music is on CDs, or I can download for free, so guess what I spent my iTunes card on?

EVERY SEASON OF DANNY PHANTOM ON ITUNES, THAT'S WHAT!

Oh, and Angry Birds. It's fun!

Sadly, they didn't have Storm Hawks. But now I get to feel cool as I watch Danny Phantom every morning on the bus.

And finally, I've started a little mini-project, which I'm hoping to release for Easter. Sadly, given my recent schoolwork, I'll probably not have it done for a while. But fingers crossed, guys!

Little experience I thought was funny. When visiting my grandma, my dad and I watched a DVD with her. She couldn't understand why we didn't have to rewind it, like we do with tapes. So, my dad said it was magic. My grandma gave him the 'yeah right, pull the other one' look.

So my dad told her it was a "Continuous play tape," and she nodded in perfect understanding.

I love my grandma.

In other news, I visited Quebec (province in Canada, for non-Canadians) for a school trip. It was damn cold, but damn awesome! We were there for the Carnival, and got to visit so many cool places. And I, because I am just special like that, conducted my own experiment of licking the ice palace and the ice hotel.

Results: stuck to the palace, but not the hotel. And hurt my tongue unsticking it.

There was also a store with good deals on music, so I bought the Tron soundtrack by Daft Punk, and some other stuff.

And lastly, I just bought myself a tablet a few days ago! Bamboo, and works awesome.

Well... aren't I a bit behind on the journals?

So, just to give everyone a quick update: school is good. Art is fun, french is a pain the ass, socials is bearable but boring, work experience is annoying, and mah friends are awesome!

I've made a new friend this year, btw. Go poke him.

Catching up on my many accumulating messages. Down to about 200, which is good. But I'm leaving tuesday to go visit my grandparents, so they're about to build right back up. -.- And I won't be back until about the 30th, depending on weather conditions. But is being lovely and lending me some stuff to watch during the car trip. ^^

Ahh, something that should be noted. I'm starting my own webcomic.

I think I'm insane for doing this.

Been working for weeks, and I still only have one character's design solidly planned out. So don't expect to see it anytime soon. But I will tell you a bit about it:

It'll be called Proto. It's a Danny Phantom (lol I'm so lame/cool) AU, based off the original concept for the show, in which Danny had no ghost powers, but instead fought with an owl. Named Spooky.
